I’m a chiropractor with a passion for helping people understand their bodies and take an active role in their health.

My approach has evolved beyond simply treating where someone hurts. I’m interested in the bigger picture — how the nervous system, spine, muscles, movement, lifestyle and environment interact to influence how we feel and function.

Whether someone is recovering from an injury, trying to move better, returning to sport or looking to stay well for the long term, my goal is to meet you where you are and help you build from there.

How I think

A broader view,built through experience.

My journey into chiropractic wasn’t a straight line. I initially began studying medicine in China, but during my first year I realised I wanted to work with people in a different way — one that allowed me to understand the body through movement, function and its capacity to adapt.

That decision led me to chiropractic, and ultimately to a career shaped by clinical practice, mentorship, sport, rehabilitation and the continual pursuit of a broader understanding of health.

The practice

Where the work becomes practical.

Dr. Sarlie Chiropractic is built around understanding the person in front of me — not simply the place or symptom that brought them in.

Assessment, treatment, movement, recovery and education can all form part of the process, depending on the individual and what the assessment shows.

Continuing learning

The work keeps evolving.

I believe being a practitioner also means remaining a student.

Continuing education, mentorship and exposure to different perspectives have played an important role in how my approach has developed over time.

This photograph represents one part of that journey — attending the Neuro Impulse Protocol Symposium in Croatia and continuing to learn beyond the consulting room.

Mentorship & community

Learning is rarely a solo process.

Some of the most valuable parts of professional development happen through mentorship, conversation and shared experience.

My chiropractic journey has been shaped not only by formal education, but also by the people I have learned from and worked alongside.

Sport & football

Sport changed the way I think about the body.

Football became an important part of my clinical experience and broadened the way I think about movement, recovery, preparation and performance.

Working around sport taught me that the body has to do more than simply feel better. It has to tolerate demand, adapt to changing circumstances and return to activity.

Working with teams.

My football experience included working alongside players, coaches and support staff, with a focus on injury prevention, recovery and helping players return to participation.

The experience included youth football, tournament environments and travel with teams.

Beyond the clinic

Football became partof my life too.

Sport has become more than a professional interest in my life.

It has also become part of the people, experiences and relationships that have shaped my journey.

That means looking beyond the immediate symptom and considering movement, capacity, recovery, lifestyle, environment and the individual in front of me.

Chiropractic is one part of that picture. The broader aim is to help people understand their bodies, build capacity and take an active role in their health.
